Each night your child should be reading in French. By next Monday they should have read at least 100 minutes.

Terry Fox
Tomorrow (Wednesday) we are getting a visit from Terry Fox's brother Fred. To celebrate this and to show our support for Terry's cause we're planning to wear red and white to school tomorrow. Don't forget!

This Week's Homework
Now that we're in to more of a routine, I can post the week's homework. If there are any changes (for example, any work not completed in class) I'll post on here.
For the week:
- 100 minutes of reading in French. Please hand in the reading log (yellow duo-tang) on Friday.
- Study individual words. Each student will have 10 words to study for a spelling quiz, which will be on Monday.
Monday:
- Math subtraction sheet (both sides)
Tuesday:
- Math book, pages 66 and 67, numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7.
Wednesday:
- Math book, pages 71 and 72, numbers 1, 2, 3, and 6.
Question number 6 might be a bit tricky for some kids. Here's the translation:
6. The Magna Carta was signed in 1215. How many years have passed since it's signing.
Answer: 2013 - 1215 = 798 years.
Thursday:
- Math sheet, both sides.
